We are alone

Jackie's sister, auntie Carolyn left this afternoon and she was the last remaining member of the family on visit. Pretty much from June 2nd when Jackie's mom arrived, a family member or members have been living with us. It's been great having them around as they fill Ryder's live with love and laughter and TONS of hugs and kisses. They also allow me and Jackie some rest when we need to get a quick nap or even to go out and work. Auntie Carol has been here for 3 weeks and she needs to head back to Miami where she needs to pack for her big move to Chile. We thank everyone for coming from all over the world to visit our little smurf and we appreciate all the help in raising Ryder. I think it has been fantastic having family around but now we must tough it out on our own.
Before she left, auntie Carol tried to steal Ryder and stuff him in her luggage but luckily we saved him from a rough ride in the baggage compartment.
Ryder has a sixth sense about these things cuz he knows when family is leaving. When Jax's mom & dad left from HK he wouldn't sleep and was really sad, same thing today. Auntie Carol leaves and now he refuses to sleep. He misses his big auntie very much and he's very mad as evidenced by his ferocious crying tonight. Mommy Jax is equally sad as she cried for an hour after her big sister left, so there is a lot of crying inside my house right now. The sisters have become so close even though they hardly see each other cuz one lives on the other side of the globe. And these girls use to fight everyday?
