Decorating the Xmas Tree!!

Well Thanksgiving is a distant memory and Xmas is only 3 weeks away so we decided to put up the Christmas tree today. Mommy's favorite holiday is Xmas and she is actually a Xmas Nazi! She takes Xmas very seriously so daddy has learned to abide by all holiday rules as will Ryder. You ever watch the episode of Seinfeld where there's this Soup Nazi guy? That's how mommy is with Xmas. There's the tree, xmas music, gifts, spirit, and all around decorating. I guess it's a good thing cuz it's work getting to that day but it makes the whole season must more enjoyable and there is definitely that xmas spirit even when we are over 6500 miles away from family.
Tree decorating day is a monumental affair and it means taking time to help mommy put up the tree ornaments. Everyone must have their own ornament and you put it on the tree every year. I bought my own ornament in Praque 2 years ago and it's this little guy skateboarding. Since Ryder doesn't have an ornament yet, we decided he gets to put the angel on the top of the tree. After all was said and done, we plopped him down on a pillow in his new Santa outfit for a Kodak moment. He seems to love Xmas also cuz he was all smiles. Maybe he was still happy from UCLA beating USC in football yesterday. Or maybe that's just daddy!!
