Last Tidbits from SF
Here's a few last tidbits from SF as I slog thru my blogging backlog. After Uncle Chris' wedding we went back to the hotel completely pooped. After a good nights rest we had dinner with the family and slowly said our goodbyes to everyone. We took one last picture with Uncle Alberto and Auntie Carolyn before we headed off for the cable car. The next time we see them will be in Barcelona during September for their wedding. That's when Ryder gets his next crack at walking down the aisle...without falling. Sorry still looking for my videocamera!
After all the festivities we were able to sneak away for a couple of hours before the long drive back to LA. We hopped on the cable car by Union Square and headed for Fisherman's Wharf for lunch with my college buddy Pat and one of Jackie's oldest friends Rita. It's really been ages since I've ridden the cable cars in SF but Ryder enjoyed it a lot. At least he enjoyed the first 2 minutes of the ride cuz he fell asleep right away.
By the time we got off, he was already dreaming so he never got to the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge. Just that view makes me wanna move to SF. It has always been one of my favorite cities and Jackie and I have always contemplated moving there one day. But it just doesn't make sense now cuz our families are in LA or Hawaii. We really would like Ryder to grow up around his grandparents, aunties & uncles, and cousins so one day we will figure out a plan to get home. E.T. got home, we can too! Anyway, here's our first family picture with the bridge in the background.
We walked down to the wharf where we met up with Pat and Rita and had a nice lunch overlooking the bay. What's with the new 4% tax in SF that just went into effect. Or did we get duped? Anyway, here's Ryder trying to pick up on Allison but she ain't givin' him time of day. Allison also had this PINK girlie car that Ryder tried to play with all thru lunch. What's up with that?

hahah. Allison seems to really be giving Ryder the cold shoulder. :) So lucky to have gotten to go to the Bay Area!!! Hoping to make it back there soon.
re: the DSLR, you can definitely check it out when we finally see each other! :)
Alex,
The stroller looked too small for Ryder.
Roxy and I love SF too. We always have a good time up there.
